Why is Wisdom a Woman? And Where does Christ fit in?
In Proverbs, King Solomon refers to Wisdom as a woman. But why? Was wisdom actually a created person , or was it some other being? The short answer to this is no. But there was a purpose to Solomon calling wisdom a woman and who/what wisdom represented for the future. I recently had a wonderful friend bring this thought up to me and once I started to read more into it, I saw just how beautiful this scripture was. Having a Friend named Jesus!
I’m sure you have heard the hymn often played in churches all over and radio stations… “What a friend we have in Jesus, All our sins and griefs to bear!
